Enrichment classes are available to support your child’s social, emotional, physical, and academic success!
Encinitas Explorers Camp
Each day we will be going on a field trip to one of our local outdoor treasures, engaging in STEM, arts & crafts, team-building games, a mindfulness lesson, some yoga, and creating some healthy organic snacks together!
HKM is committed to environmental stewardship and safety for all. That’s why our Encinitas Explorers camps are limited to twelve students per day! That’s a student : teacher ratio of 6:1!
We recognize that our kids need to be safe, seen, and heard… not just herded to activities or entertained.
Keeping our camps small means, our campers have access to more nature and authentic learning experiences.
Musical Camp, Little Red Riding Hood
Brought to you by Bad Wolf Press, this classic fairytale comes to life in a fun and memorable way! Together, we ignite our imaginations and collaborative skills to create the set, costumes, choreography, and effects. Join us for a Friday performance for friends and family celebrating our unique creative gifts.

Kids Yoga in the Park
Join us for after school yoga in the park Thursdays 1:40-2:35 PM in Laguna Rivera Park (next to Kelly Elementary in Carlsbad) from March 21 - May 30. $10 suggested donation. Proceeds support youth mindfulness programs for under resourced populations.

Nourish your body, mind, and soul with an organic, vegan, gluten-free Betsy’s Bliss Smoothie made with love, dragon fruit, avocado, flax milk, cacao, and superfoods that are sure to ignite taste buds, vitality, and neural pathways!
Preorder for yourself or to donate a smoothie to someone else. $11 suggested donation for 16 oz.
100% of the proceeds fund our school mindfulness programs which bring 8-16 weeks of mindfulness classes to kids at their school.

Happy Kids Yoga Camp
The Happy Kids Yoga Camp with Betsy Cantrall
Betsy is a National Board-certified elementary school teacher, yoga teacher, fitness instructor, and mindfulness coach who absolutely loves “working” with kids. She provides this fun-filled camp with the purest intentions of empowering kids through mindfulness, arts, music, and yoga activities that they can use anytime to have fun, reduce anxiety, cultivate attention, and regulate emotions. Lessons will guide children to strengthen their self compassion, curiosity, and kindness with their imaginations.
Each day students will be invited to explore different nature themes as they unlock their potential, share their gifts and co-create more peace and happiness on the planet. Organic fruits and veggies will be offered as a snack.
Space is limited to 11 kids each day, so reserve your space early.
